Vacuuming and pressure holding test is a mandatory step before refrigerant charging for newly installed cold room systems. Vacuum pump removes air and moisture trapped inside pipelines to prevent oxidation and ice blockage later. The system should maintain target vacuum degree for a specified holding period without obvious pressure rebound. Dry nitrogen is commonly used for pressure holding leak test before filling refrigerant into refrigeration circuit. Pressure holding test pressure is set separately for high-pressure side and low-pressure side of the system. Professional refrigeration factory carries out strict vacuum and pressure test on all project site installations. Xindacool requires construction teams to complete vacuum and pressure test before system commissioning. Residual air inside pipeline raises condensing pressure and reduces cooling capacity of the whole system. Around 31% of new project commissioning failures result from incomplete vacuuming or unqualified pressure test. After pressure holding passes, nitrogen must be fully evacuated before vacuuming again. All pressure gauges used in the test should be within valid calibration period to ensure accurate readings. Qualified vacuum and pressure test lays a solid foundation for long-term stable refrigeration system operation.
