Annual preventive maintenance of air-cooled condenser can avoid costly failures, reduce energy consumption and prolong the service life of the whole refrigeration system. Many projects only carry out surface cleaning, omitting the critical point of failure in summer.

The first point is the thorough cleaning of the heat exchange coil. Dust, pollen, industrial waste and feathers can block the space between fins. Low-pressure water with neutral detergent should be used to avoid high-pressure spray bending aluminum fins. After cleaning, they check and erect deformed wings with fin combs.

Secondly, thoroughly check the fan: check that the blades are fixed, there are no grooves on the bearings, and the noise and vibration level. If metal noise or excessive vibration occurs, the bearing must be replaced before it falls off completely. The correct direction of rotation of each fan is also checked.

Check all electrical connections: fan motor terminals, high-voltage prestress and general wiring. Loose connections can lead to heating, voltage drop and unpredictable downtime. Check the anti-vibration bracket and replace the cracked or damaged bracket.

Inspection of cooling circuit on condenser side: Visually check whether there is oil stain on pipes and welds, which is a common signal of coolant leakage. By simulating and testing the actual operation of high-pressure prestressed device, it is not enough to only check its physical state.

Check the installation distance and potential new obstacles. Over time, even if the original installation is correct, water tanks, meters or new structures can be placed near the equipment that produces hot air circulation.

Compare the condensation pressure value recorded in the annual visit with the startup data. A persistent deviation greater than 15% indicates a potential problem that needs to be diagnosed.

Important note: the maintenance of condenser is not separated from evaporator DL, DD and DJ. During the same annual visit, the drying, drainage and melting cycles of indoor coolers should also be checked. The problem of evaporator will eventually affect the performance of external condenser.

Under the condition of not cutting off the general power supply of the equipment, cleaning or inspection should not be carried out to avoid accidents caused by accidental start-up of the fan.
